Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion. On Microsoft Dynamics AX



Windows could not start the Microsoft Dynamics AX Object Server 6.0…service on Local Computer.
Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion. On Microsoft Dynamics AX.














While starting the an AOS instance Service. We got the error “Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion. On Microsoft Dynamics AX”.

Because we need to increase standard timeout for application services, follow below steps to change the registry key.

  • Go to run and type “regedit” and press enter.
  • Go to the path “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/Current Control Set”.
  • Control as below and then right click and newàselect “DWORD (32-bit) Value”.


















  • Enter the key name “ServicePipeTimeout”.
  • Right click on “ServicePipeTimeout” and click on “Modify…”.
  • Enter the Value data “12000” in “Decimal” mode.























  • Click on “OK” and Reboot the PC.

Create Wi-Fi Hotspot in windows 10

  • Right click on Windows button.
  • Click on Command Prompt (Admin).
  • Type netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=(any name) key=(any key) and click enter button.
Note: You can keep any user id and password as you wish.






















Start hosted network.
  • Type netsh wlan start hostednetwork click on enter button.





  • Go to Network Connections.
  • You will see there is created new Local Area Connection*4.











Share the hosted Network
  • Go to Network Connections.
  • Right click on Ethernet, click on Properties.

















  • Go to Sharing Option.
  • Tick mark on Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection.
  • Select Local Area Connection*4.
  • Click Ok Button and close all tabs.




















Now hotspot is ready. Now you can use the internet on any of your computers or mobile phones.
